Alan Shearer's statue is returned to the grounds of St James' Park SIX YEARS after it was unveiled

The 10ft sculpture of the club's record scorer was commissioned by the family of former Toon chairman Freddy Shepherd, but Mike Ashley refused to put it up in the boundaries of the stadium.
