"I don't know how you could not," she continued. "I don't think [Obi-Wan] ever will not care about him. What's special about that relationship is that they loved each other."

"Ahsoka is a continuous story," Filoni told Vanity Fair in a May cover story. "It is definitely driving toward a goal, in my mind, as opposed to being little singular adventures. That's what I want the character to be doing, and I think that's what fans want now. They have such a relationship with her. I've only recently started to understand that all those kids that watched Clone Wars are now a lot older—they're very excited about all the things they grew up with, as they should be."

"My question when watching 'The Phantom Menace' was always like, 'Well, how did things get to this point?' How did we get to a point where a Sith lord can infiltrate the Senate and none of the Jedi pick up on it? Like, what went wrong? What are the scenarios that led us to this moment?"
And we are going to see the Jedi differently on this show.
"The Jedi uniforms are gold and white, and it's almost like they would never get dirty," Headland revealed. "They would never be out and about. The idea is that they could have these types of uniforms because that's how little they're getting into skirmishes."
