Elevated credit card bonuses come and go, and the sun's about to set on two great Marriott credit card offers from Amex. 

With the premium Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant™ American Express® Card, you can earn Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant™ American Express® Card. The free night certificate that comes with this bonus is valid at Marriott Bonvoy properties that cost up to 85,000 points, making this offer worth a whopping 185,000 Marriott points. That's worth around $1,295 in stays based on Insider's valuation of Marriott points at 0.7 cents apiece, but the offer is only available until May 18, 2022.

Also ending at the same time is a big offer on the Marriott Bonvoy Business™ American Express® Card to earn Marriott Bonvoy Business™ American Express® Card (worth around $700 in Marriott stays). I've had this card for a number of years and even though I don't use it much for everyday spending, I continue to renew it and pay the Marriott Bonvoy Business™ American Express® Card annual fee Marriott Bonvoy Business™ American Express® Card - Rates & Fees each year because of the strong benefits it offers.

Marriott Bonvoy Business card: Earn 100,000 points

The current welcome bonus on the Marriott Bonvoy Business™ American Express® Card is a better deal than the standard offer, but it's not the highest it's ever been. New cardholders can earn Marriott Bonvoy Business™ American Express® Card. Because this is a small-business credit card, you'll need to be a business owner to qualify. That doesn't mean you have to have a huge corporation or full-time venture; side gigs like driving for Uber or part-time work like freelancing count, too.

The Marriott Bonvoy Business™ American Express® Card comes with money-saving benefits that can also make your travels a little more civilized. For instance, the card's anniversary free night certificate (valid at Marriott hotels that cost up to 35,000 points) can often be worth far more than its annual fee — in fact, I just used mine at a hotel that cost around $450 per night!

Like other Marriott free night certificates, you can now "top-up" this free night award with up to 15,000 Marriott points if you want to redeem it at a property that costs more than 35,000 points. For instance, if you want to redeem a 35,000-point certificate at a hotel that costs 45,000 points, you could use the certificate plus another 10,000 Marriott points from your account to book the stay.
