The Commuter Challenge Returns

For the first time since 2019, the Commuter Challenge is back on May 19th, 2022!

Over 20 teams of cyclist-versus-motorist start from a location of their choice and race to the finish line on the lawn of the Empress during prime commuting hours (8 – 9 am). This event shows that cycling is often a faster and more fun choice!

Mayors in the Capital Region, CTV Weather Anchors, Victoria Orange Shirt Day organizers, and members of the business community are just some of those participating in this year’s event.

On May 19th, come on down and cheer on teams as they cross the finish line.
