Alan Carr’s Epic Gameshow blasted by viewers who all have the same complaint
ALAN Carr’s Epic Gameshow viewers were not so keen on the ITV’s new game show.
The comedian hosted the new game show on Saturday night with a new run of the programme that brings back some of Britain’s best game shows and gives them a modern twist.
Each show features a different classic gameshow, with Play Your Cards Right, Bullseye and The Price is Right.
Tonight’s episode saw three teams of two play Strike It Lucky, originally hosted by Michael Barrymore.
The teams were split in two with one person stood at the podium to answering questions, while the other moved up a set of steps of ten TV monitors.
Each team needed nine steps to get to the end and the team answering questions was given a category and a list of six answers.
They could chose to play two, three, or four questions and if they answered the questions correctly, their teammate could move up a step.
But giving a wrong answer meant another team could take over answering the question.

Despite a show full of jokes and sexy innuendos, fans watching at home slammed the show.
Many called for Michael Barrymore to return to hosting Strike It Lucky.
“How many more game shows are going to be ruined?” commented one fan on Twitter.
Another added: “Nothing against Alan Carr but @MrBarrymore should be doing this.”

The unpopular views follows the news that Alan will be taking a break from showbiz, following the breakdown of his marriage.
The presenter separated from his husband Paul Drayton in January after 13 years together.
Paul and Alan tied the knot in 2018 after 10 years together as a couple – with singer, Adele, involved in the nuptials.
Speaking to Laura Boyd of What’s On Scotland, Alan said: “During Covid, the relationship fell apart, and I was divorced when we came out the other end.”
In January, a spokesman for the former couple said: “After 13 years as a couple and three years of marriage, Alan Carr and Paul Drayton would like to announce they are separating.
“They have jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go their separate ways.”
