...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY EVENING...
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of North Idaho, including the following counties,
Bonner and Boundary. Portions of Washington, including the
following counties, Chelan, Ferry, Okanogan, Pend Oreille and
Stevens.
* WHEN...Through Monday evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected
during the holiday weekend. The showers and storms will be
rather slow-moving and capable of producing torrential
downpours at times. Excessive runoff from the precipitation
may result in flooding of small creeks and streams as well as
on and near burn scars and in areas of steep terrain. Rock
slides and mud slides will be possible.
