The election is going to remain unclear till July 12 as both the Shiv Sena factions had brought out whips asking the party MLAs to vote for their respective candidates. Deputy Speaker Narhari Zirwal noted after the vote that 39 MLAs of the Eknath Shinde group had voted against the Shiv Sena (Uddhav camp) whip.
