Razor company Hey Estrid has revealed exactly how long you should wait in between shaves to ensure smooth skin and no irritation.
In a video posted to the company’s TikTok, the host revealed the recommended number of days to wait between shaves is three.
She also listed the negative effects of shaving too often.
Issues including razor burn and ingrown hairs can arise if you shave your legs too often.

This is because you are shaving off dead skin cells more regularly and not achieving a clean shave.
Strawberry legs can also occur when you shave every day.
The issue refers to when hair follicles or pores become clogged with dirt, dead skin, bacteria, or oil.
