Tuppurainen: Agreement on Uniper’s stabilisation the best that could be achieved
MINISTER for European Affairs and Ownership Steering Tytti Tuppurainen (SDP) on Friday stated that Finland, Germany, Fortum and Uniper found the best achievable agreement on a rescue package for Uniper, a Düsseldorf-based natural gas-reliant subsidiary of Finland’s Fortum.
“The key was to find an agreement that all parties could accept and that safeguards European, and thus also Finnish, security of energy supply,” she commented at a press conference on Friday.
