But new snaps have revealed Kat’s first husband Alfie Moon will be crashing the wedding in upcoming EastEnders scenes.

This is despite a sneaky kiss with his former wife Sharon Watts, who recently admitted she still harboured strong feelings for him.
With Phil out of prison, getting his freedom back as a police informant for DCI Samantha Keeble, the baddie and Kat are ready to move their relationship to the next level and get married.
But there’s another surprise in store for them and it may ruin everything.

Photos have shown soap star Jessie Wallace filming new EastEnders scenes at a church in North London, wearing a stunning white dress for her alter ego’s big day.
And while her wedding should be a special occasion, Kat seems more in distress than anything as she meets up with another man, perhaps behind Phil’s back.
Many fans of the show may recognise him – Alfie Moon has come to join the party.
The snaps show the character stepping out of a van, parked right outside the church Kat and Phil set their sights on for their wedding.

Alfie is also shown speaking with Kat, but what does he want?
While Kat has had many romances throughout her years in the Square, none of them seemed to match the connection she shared with Alfie.
The pair first got married in 2003 but have had a rocky relationship.
Many viewers will remember Alfie and Kat continuously straying from one another and the former even formed a romantic bond with her sister, Little Mo.
Alfie left Walford a number of times, most recently in 2019.
In January, 2019, the police arrived at the Slater house telling Kat they had found Alfie’s abandoned car at the top of a notorious spot for suicide.
Kat was in disbelief and tried to call Alfie but his number was no longer in use.
