Love Island fans claim producers ‘fixed’ public vote to keep Gemma and Luca in
LOVE Island fans have claimed producers helped Luca Bish survive on the show by changing the rules.
The fishmonger – who is coupled up with Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma – came under fire last week after he was accused of “bullying” some of the Islanders.
ITV viewers noticed that the dumping rules changed last week – but returned to normal last night.
During the surprise VIP party at Vibe Club, Laura Whitmore arrived and announced that boys Billy Brown and Dami Hope and girls Danica Taylor and Summer Botwe had received the least public votes.
But many fans were convinced that Luca was in the bottom three and were surprised that there were only four Islanders in the firing line.
There are usually six Islanders who are at risk – three boys and three girls.

But last night it returned to three, with Deji Adeniyi and Lacey Edwards, Danica Taylor and Jamie Allen and Nathalia Campos and Reece Ford in the bottom.
Viewers are convinced Luca has been given a free pass to the final – despite his behaviour last week.
One wrote: “So suddenly the bottom 3 is back? The week we wanted Luca in the bottom it was bottom 2? He was definitely in the bottom that week but the producers produced. Fishy. #LoveIsland”
Another posted: “How come the number of couples in the bottom changed back to three? I’m guessing it was to save Luca last week? #LoveIsland”

A third said: “Luca should have gone last week but the rules changed?! #LoveIsland”
It comes after viewers were fuming that Deji and Lacey were dumped – over Danica and Jamie.
Nathalia and Reece were also given the boot in the double elimination.
But fans thought Deji and Lacey were far more “compatible” than Danica and Jamie and Paige Thorne and Adam Collard.

A third angry viewer said: “Who the f*** didn’t vote for Deji? #loveisland this is fake news.”
A fourth agreed: “I’m starting to think that this show is rigged. Deji? He definitely did not get the fewest votes.. he would’ve been up there with Ekin-Su & Davide where he belongs if it was done honestly.”
