Canada mass shooting leaves ‘several dead’ after shooter goes on rampage gunning down people in Langley streets
A SHOOTER has gone on a rampage leaving several people dead – gunning down victims in the streets.
Cops confirmed there were “multiple shooting scenes” in downtown Langley, a city in the Metro Vancouver district of British Columbia, Canada.
Cops confirmed several people are dead and one suspect has been arrested after the rampage, reports CBC.
Residents were awakened by an emergency alert sent to their mobiles phones which warned them to stay away from the downtown area.
Police issued the warning at around 6.15am local time reporting “multiple shootings”.
The alert described the suspect as a white man with dark hair.

The alleged shooter was said to be wearing brown coveralls as well as a blue and green camouflage T-shirt with a red logo on the right sleeve.
The notice said he was connected to a white car, but did not say whether police have identified a make or model.
Cops later confirmed they had arrested as suspect as the sun rose over the shocked city.
Police said the victims were homeless and detectives believe the attack was a targeted rampage.

Sgt. Rebecca Parslow said: “We do have a male suspect in custody.
“However, we are ruling out any other outstanding individuals before we stand the emergency alert down.”
Parslow said several people were killed – but did not confirm how many.
Langley Royal Canadian Mounted Police tweeted: “Due to the recent police incident, please avoid Langley City’s downtown core, in the area of 200 Street & the Langley Bypass in Langley Township.
“The public is asked to stay out of the area until further notice.”
