LOVE Island star Luca Bish is confident he’ll win the show with Gemma Owen, according to a body language expert.

Last night viewers were furious after Luca appeared to act “bitterly” towards Davide, 27, and Ekin-Su, 27, becoming exclusive.

Now Darren Stanton has revealed the secret signs that suggest Luca is convinced they’ll be the 2022 champions.

Speaking to The Sun on behalf of Betfair Bingo, the expert said his cocky gestures suggest he’s not threatened by the title race.

Darren said: “I feel Luca has lost some of his humility which was probably one of his most endearing qualities at the beginning, perhaps because of his new-found status in a relationship with Gemma.

“Luca’s body language was very confident while discussing the situation with Gemma as he stretched his arms out exposing his torso area.

“This is a primal gesture, because when we feel confident enough to leave ourselves unguarded it means we believe we will not be attacked by anyone else, but in this context in this day and age it is a gesture of confidence as I feel Luca believes he is in with a strong chance of winning.”

Luca has no idea that he’s now no longer favourite with the viewers – and instead has been overtaken by Ekin-Su and Davide.

The latter couple announced to the villa last night that they had decided to put a label on their on-off relationship ahead of the final next week.

The couple, who had a rocky start in the villa, sat down by the fire pit for a romantic snog as they finally put a label on their relationship.

Italian hunk Davide prepared a sweet home-made tiramisu for Ekin-Su in a romantic move before popping the important question.

As they stood up to announce their happy news, the fellow Islanders could be seen clapping and cheering as they celebrated.

However, eagle-eyed fans couldn’t help but pick up on a less-than-impressed reaction from Luca, 23.

After the announcement to the rest of the villa, he bitterly remarked about how he planned to share his news with Gemma Owen.

Luca could be seen giving Ekin-Su a deep stare as she told him that he and Gemma were basically “husband and wife”, before ignoring her handshake.

“I’m glad Ekin has told us we’re basically exclusive, it’s given me clarity, do you know what I mean?” he then sarcastically told Gemma, 19.

“Shut up, you’re being bitter,” Gemma could be seen firing back as she shook her head at her partner.

She reassured him: “We didn’t do something like that for people to know that we are exclusive. I’d prefer it to be this way.”

Fans were left furious over the reaction, and took to social media to slam it as “bitter” and “jealous”.
