Lil Durk Shares Health Update After Being Hit in the Face with Explosives at Lollapalooza

Lil Durk is giving fans an update about his health.

During his set at Lollapalooza Festival over the weekend, the 29-year-old rapper was injured after explosives misfired and hit him in the eye. In a video from his performance, he could be seen throwing his hands up and stumbling backwards after the explosion went off.

In a post shared to Instagram on Sunday (July 30), Durk shared an update about how he was feeling after the accident.

He posted a photo of himself in a doctor’s office with a bandage over his eye, writing in the caption: “Due to the incident that happened at Lollapalooza in Chicago on stage, I’ma take a break & focus on my health.”

He added, “I finished my performance yesterday for my fans. Appreciate y’all.”

His post comes a few days after another performer was forced to make a statement after unauthorized fireworks were set off at their show. Find out more here.
