Thunderstorm activity is occuring near the San Francisco peninsula

coast as well as 50 miles off the San Mateo county coast and

moving northward. Lightning has not yet been detected with these

cells, but are still capable of producing heavier periods of rain

and locally erratic winds. Chance for showers and isolate

thunderstorms will continue through the afternoon.
