I shared my unique method of buying my wife presents & now people say I should leave her
WHEN it comes to buying gifts for your significant other there are many guidelines to follow.
From anniversary-specific themes to the percentage of your salary you should spend on an engagement ring, there are a lot of rules to gift-giving.
Instagram user Isaac Ramirez shared his method of deciding how much to spend on his fiancé’s gifts.
In his video, Isaac explained: “Last year I put $360 away for my fiancé’s Valentine’s gift, but I took away $1 every day she yelled at me.”
“Now her gift limit is $40 and I saved $320,” he told his followers.
The comments section of Isaac’s video had mixed reactions to the unique idea.
“Why are you still with her if she yelled at you almost every day the past year?” asked one user.
Viewers agreed that Isaac’s relationship was unhealthy, one person called the method “transactional relationship damage,” while many labelled it toxic.
“I wonder who is the d*ck in this relationship? Either he is doing stuff to get yelled at or she just likes yelling. I’m so intrigued,” commented one of Isaac’s followers.
“Bro, rethink calling her fiancé, something needs to be talked about,” advised another user.

Another person wrote: ‘Still calling her fiancé seems a bit generous. Either you a d*ck or she is. Time to reflect.”
“Why is she yelling at you then? Because she’s a nag or because you are a d*ck? One or both of you is a problem here,’ said one viewer.
“I’d rather be single than be with someone like this,” commented one follower.
