Coronavirus: L.A. County reported 1,430 more cases and eight more deaths, Sept. 6

Los Angeles County public health officials reported 1,430 more cases of the coronavirus since Monday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,420,213 as of Tuesday, Sept 6.

Officials reported eight more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Monday for a total of 33,217 deaths since tracking began.

Hospitalization numbers are pending information from the California Department of Public Health.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 19,722,142 doses administered.
