Pedestrian struck, critically injured on State Street

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A woman was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle in Schenectady Tuesday night. The incident took place around 9:30 p.m. on the 1,000-block of State Street.

The woman was taken to the hospital. Police said State Street is closed in both directions between Brandywine Avenue and Swan Street. The investigation is ongoing.
