The room rents have doubled to Rs, 30,000- Rs 40,000 per night from Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 per night few days ago. The availability is likely to remain low as most guest have booked rooms for 10-15 since they expect that it may take that much time for their homes to be cleaned and refurbished once the flood water recedes.
