"The (Indian) govt has been busy inking trade deals with lucrative markets in the UAE and Australia and a deal with the UK is in the works. That will help compensate for the immediate trade lacuna. More importantly, the PLI scheme has given a boost to India’s manufacturing capabilities and incentivised biz in electronics, pharma, and auto components to produce more," says Mukesh Aghi.
