"Earlier, the city civic administration had slapped around Rs 8 lakh fine on contractors for not carrying out proper road repairing work. More action is on the cards. The civic body is also making the contrators repair the roads," ToI quoted VG Kulkarni, head of the PMC's road department as saying.
