Noughties boyband Point Break star unrecognisable 22 years later after US TV success
A NOUGHTIES boyband star is unrecognisable 22 years after finding fame with Point Break.
Point Break – made up of Declan Bennett, Brett Adams and David Oliver – enjoyed huge success after their launch in 1999.
In just a year the boys clocked up five UK hit singles, with their most successful, Stand Tough, reaching number seven in the charts.
They split in 2000 but that wasn’t the last we saw of Declan, now 41.
In 2014 he joined the cast of EastEnders as Charlie Cotton, the grandson of soap legend Dot who was portrayed by the late June Brown.
Declan initially left the BBC1 programme in 2015 but made a brief return two years later.

Last year he starred alongside Ben Aldridge in ITV crime drama The Long Call which was later released internationally on BritBox.
After splitting his time between New York and London for work Declan moved to Oxfordshire where he lives with his partner, fellow actor and musician Fra Fee.
