Married At First Sight UK shock as big star reveals they DATED groom before the show
MARRIED At First Sight UK’s Marilyse Corrigan revealed she had previously dated a groom from the current series.
The 37-year-old, who appeared on the 2021 show, said that she had a relationship with one of this year’s stars.
During an appearance on the online web series, Wine O’Clock With Matt and Maz, with special guest, Paul Brunson – Marilyse confessed that she had a previous romance with a groom from the new series.
While playing a game of ‘Never Have I Ever’, Marilyse admitted that she had previously dated one of the new cast members on Married At First Sight UK.
While playing the game, Matt said: “Never have I ever dated anyone from the new cast.”
In which a sheepish Marilyse, giggled and sipped from her glass, confirming she had.
A shocked Paul, asked: “You said the new cast right?”
Marilyse said: “I wont say any names, because I would never do that, but yes I dated someone briefly at the end of last year who’s on the new show.”
Paul was left gobsmacked and couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

He said: “Wow, this is big.”
Marilyse then asked Paul if he didn’t already know this.
Paul paused a few seconds before answering, a firm no.
Matt then asked Marilyse if she would give out any details, but she refused, saying: “No, I would never tell you who it is.”

The former Married At First Sight UK contestant, then shared that she had been dating the man briefly and it “fizzled out”, and she later found out he was on the show.
A nosey Paul, didn’t stop there at trying to get details out of Marilyse; he then asked her how long she had been dating him and how they had met.
But Marilyse was adamant she didn’t want to share any information, saying “I would never do that, because it’s private.”
She added: “I’m not going to tell you how we met because then it will ruin the whole thing.”
The Celebs Go Dating expert then told Marilyse he wanted to take a guess, at who it could be.

But Marilyse told Paul, “Don’t do that, because it’s not fair, don’t say the name.”
Paul joked: “If I’ve interviewed him whilst he was dating you I’m going to nail his a**.”
Fans who were watching the live Instagram story started making their own guesses as to who the mystery could be.
The mum of two, has been keeping busy and sharing fitness content with her 134,000 followers on Instagram.
