‘Very alarming!’ Amazon horror as 26% of planet’s green lung ‘irreversibly destroyed’

A QUARTER of the Amazon rainforest has reportedly been "irreversibly destroyed" by deforestation, drug trafficking and pollution, putting indigenous groups on "red alert".
