[Men's Soccer] Tonight's Season Opening Soccer Game with Penn State Scranton has been Canceled

Wednesday night's home opening soccer game has been canceled due to a lack of available healthy players for Penn State Scranton. 

"Their roster was thin to begin with and they got some players injured over the weekend and so they don't have enough players to compete at this time.  Needless to say, our players are devastated but we totally understand.  We hope we are never in that same boat but for all we know, the shoe could be on the other foot some day and so hope for the best for Penn State Scranton and we move on," shared Williamson's Director of Athletics Dale Plummer.

The team's opening game just got exponentially harder, as they now open up on the road this Saturday at 3:00 P.M. against Penn State Mont Alto.  Fourth year head coach Peter Glowa has some things to still work out , as far as his line-up goes, but overall he is very pleased with how the team looks and is excited for a great season.
