I’m a sleep expert – here’s my easy tip to stop your partner from snoring and it won’t cost a thing
THERE’S nothing more annoying than trying to sleep, but being kept awake all night by an irritating snoring partner.
While there are a number of different tricks and remedies to help sort this problem, one expert has revealed two simple tips to stop your partner snoring.
Don’t worry, you won’t need to stick anything up your nose or in your mouth with these tips – all you will need is a pillow for a noise-free night’s sleep.
James Leinhardt, founder and CEO of Levitex pillows and mattresses, took to TikTok to explain how your pillow can affect your snoring habits.
In the video, he said: “There are two ways to stop your partner snoring.”
The first option sees a woman put a pillow over his head, as he joked: “Option one is smothering them”.

The next option however, is actually very useful.
James explained: “Option two is get your partner to lie on their side and buy them a pillow that lifts their head off the bed keeping their neck nice and neutral in line with the rest of the spine.
“Save yourself”.
The video has clearly impressed many, as it has racked up 60k views.

One person wrote: “I do a little jump so the mattress wobbles and it sorts him out long enough for me to get to sleep, but I guess I could try your way.”
While another said: “I pinch his nose so he wakes up slightly and adjusts his position.”
A third added: “He fights his pillow in the night!! Screws it up in a ball and lays on the mattress! I’m stuck with snoring forever.”
Someone else commented: “My husband snores on every side that he sleeps.”
According to the NHS, snoring is caused by things such as your tongue, mouth, throat or airways in your nose vibrating as you breathe.
