Babbs Mill Lake: ‘Several’ people pulled from water in critical condition as Solihull emergency services rush to scene

SEVERAL people have been pulled out from the water in critical condition after an emergency at Babbs Mill Lake in Solihull.

Cops and emergency services scrambled to the scene with the people involved being hospitalised.

West Midlands Police said in a statement that a “number of people” have been pulled from the lake.

In a tweet, police have described their condition as “critical”.

Cops said that they were working with West Midlands Fire service and West Midlands Ambulance Service.

Emergency services remain at Babbs Mill Park, which is located on Fortbridge Road in the Kingshurst area.

It comes as freezing temperatures have been recorded across parts of the West Midlands and other regions in the UK.
