Luckily one cleaning pro has shared her top tips on how to get your home smelling fresh before they arrive.
TikTokker @aestheticallyinhome regularly shares cleaning and organising tips with her 16,000 followers.
In a recent video, the content creator shared how she keeps her home smelling fresh – and all three tips can be done in the 10 minutes before your visitors walk through the door.
“Three quick and easy ways to make your house smell amazing before guests.
“So, tip number one is to get some toilet roll and Zoflora.

“Then rub the Zofora in the cardboard middle bit of the toilet roll, and the cardboard basically holds the smell so your bathroom smells amazing.
“Tip number two is to get some fabric conditioner and mix this with water.
“Then get a cloth and basically rub it along your sides, sometimes your radiators, and along your walls and your house just smells amazing.
“Tip number three, I actually posted this the other day but it’s by far my favourite.

“Get some tumble dryer sheets and put them in your cushions and down the side of your sofa.
“It takes two seconds to do and the room just smells amazing.
