I’m a savvy mum and made the perfect Christmas snow scene on my window – it was so easy and cost me less than £5

WITH Christmas just over two weeks away, we’re all getting into the festive spirit. 

This weekend, many of us got our decorations out and threw up our trees.

But one mum has taken it a step further, and turned her windows into a festive snow scene – and it cost her less than a fiver. 

Suzi, known online as @suzi_x35_ttm, regularly shares parenting and money-saving tips with her 13,000 followers. 

In a recent video, the savvy mum shares how she used spray snow to transform the windows in her daughter’s bedroom – and it was so easy. 

During the 22-second video, Suzi is seen pulling clear sellotape off her windows, to reveal a clear section not covered by snow spray.

She reveals she’s made both faux window panes and the outlines of Christmas trees.

To make their own snow scene, followers should tape the outline of their scene onto the windows using black or clear tape. Then cover with spray snow. 

Leave until it’s completely dry, then peel the tape away. 

Shoppers can grab the snow spray from various retailers, with prices starting at £2.75. 

In the comments, Suzi confirmed that she used two cans for the three windows. 

Fans loved the festive window display, with the video gaining more than 5,700 likes and 1.3 million views.  

In the comments, Suzi’s followers praised her crafting skills, with one writing: “OMG, I LOVE this! Did you do this yourself?! My front room window is HUGE!” 

Another said: “That is awesome.”

With the cost of living crisis at a peak at the moment, it’s certainly a smart way on how to make you home look festive without forking out for electrical lights that cost a bomb.
