28% GST on online games only when winning depends on certain outcome, says CBIC Chief

With the recent GST Council meet not bringing up the Group of Ministers (GoM) report on online gaming, the department has said it would go by the view that 28% GST is payable on full bet value put in by a player, and not net of margins.
