First Dates viewers all say the same thing about Fred Sirieix in Christmas special

FIRST Daters viewers are all saying the same thing as the Christmas special aired on Channel 4.

The popular dating show aired a special festive edition on Tuesday night.

But viewers couldn’t help but notice Fred’s new locks[/caption]

It sees single men and women go on blind dates – and at the end of the date, they are interviewed together and asked if they would like to see each other again.

Fred Sirieix presents the show as he introduces the singletons to their dates.

But instead of the daters grabbing viewers’ attention, Fred was the topic of conversation.

Fans of the show couldn’t help but comment on Fred’s new appearance.

He appeared to sport a brand new hairstyle.

Fred usually has an almost shaven look but the French maître has let his locks grow.

Taking to social media, one fan said: “Where has Fred got his new hair from? Loving!”

Another posted: “Where has Freds new hair came from.”

“Fred’s hair?!!,” exclaimed a third viewer.

While a fourth said: “Watching First Dates and can’t stop looking at Freds hair.”

Fred recently had fans worried as he revealed he underwent shock major surgery.

Meanwhile, fan-favourite Merlin Griffiths appeared in the episode as he served the singletons their drinks.

It comes amid his ongoing health battles as he fights bowel cancer.

After undergoing chemotherapy and two operations the 47-year-old recently told The Sun he is living with cancer.

“That’s an important distinction to make. Just because you have an operation to remove the tumour doesn’t mean that all of a sudden you are cancer free.

“They used to call it remission, now they call it NED, which means no evidence of disease. 

“So NED happens after five years for bowel cancer. Now it’s a five year ongoing process before they are willing to say alright, yeah, you’re about as safe as you can be.”
