It was utter chaos at Ludhiana Civil Hospital on Thursday morning, where dead bodies of two men got swapped in a case of alleged negligence. Members of one family reached the civil hospital mortuary to collect the body of their son. When they saw the body of a stranger, they inquired with a hospital employee. Hospital staff checked the records and told them that the body of their son had been handed over. Incensed by this, the family members beat up the employees and vandalised the hospital.
