The project to make Sector 18 market free of temporary double pole structures, 11kV makeshift power cables, over 50 old poles, transformer panels and feeder pillars will take more time to be completed. The initial deadline for this work was January but a stalemate between two departments — the UP Rajkiya Nirman Nigam Ltd (UPRNNL) and Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam (PVVNL)— has led to its delay.
