I’m a female firefighter – people say they’ve never heard of a woman in my job but I don’t care
A BRAVE woman fights fires and haters who think she shouldn’t be in her profession.
Janell Patton responded to trolls who claimed they’ve never heard of a woman firefighter.
Janell is confident on and off the internet.
She posted a video proving her disregard for other people’s remarks and opinions.
In the corner of the screen, a previous comment Janell’s gotten reads: “Literally never seen a female firefighter.”
Janell puts a filter over the video to create the illusion that there are three of her.
She’s wearing bellbottom red pants, a sparkly white tank top, and a thin shall.
The sound sings: “Don’t believe me, just watch.”
Janell spins around and transitions into her uniform – helmet and everything.
She swings her arms up and down as she dances to the music.
Janell slowly moves forward to look at the camera directly.
Again, the music says: “Don’t believe me, just watch.”
Viewers were baffled by the hater’s comment and defended Janell.
“Uh… its 2022. has this person been living under a rock ?? There are alot of females in the fire service. both paid and volly,” one surprised man said.
Janell responded: “They probably have seen on but just couldn’t tell because we are all dressed the same.”
An experienced woman admitted: “17yrs Fire Lt. and I have loved it!”
“Lol yeah WE are everywhere,” another female firefighter laughed.
