Giving Wednesday is BACK! Food Bank Donation + $2 Indoor Playground
If you attended one of our Giving Wednesday Indoor Playground in November or December, you know what a blast it was – and probably saw the large pile of food donations you helped contribute to!
And so we thought – why stop now, just because the holidays are over? So, we’re bringing it back!
Every Wednesday, all SGA locations will be offering a special “Giving Wednesday” Indoor Playground!
We’re planning some additional charities to support close to our communities with future Giving Wednesdays, but to start back up we’ll be supporting our local food banks again – who need to replenish their supply after high demand during the festive period, and during a time where donations typically drop off.
Simply bring 2 non-perishable food items for our local food banks, plus $2 (per child), and come in and PLAY for one whole hour!
We will be supporting the food banks closest to our communities:
- SGA Ballard: Ballard Food Bank
- SGA Lake City: North Helpline Food Bank
- SGA Columbia City: Rainier Valley Food Bank
- SGA Burien: Highline Area Food Bank
As a reminder, Indoor Playground is for ages 0-5 only, with parent / caregiver supervision (caregivers, and babies under 12 months are always free).
Wednesday Indoor Playground times:
Ballard, Lake City (26th) and Burien: 12:00pm – 1:00pm
Columbia City: 11:30am – 12:30pm
Drop-ins:
While we do have limited spaces, we typically have space available – however do know that we fill drop-ins on a first come, first served basis, and sometimes get full. But you are welcome to turn up!
