A banner advertising that only Hindu traders are allowed to conduct business at a temple during a festival was found outside the temple on Tuesday. The banner was removed later, and the temple authorities clarified that they have not put up any such banners. Dakshina Kannada District Muslim Ookkoota President K Ashraf condemned the incident, saying that the Sangh Parivar has not stopped its practice of imposing a ban on Muslim traders.
