_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
As a storm re-organizes off the New England coast today, a
batch of moderate to heavy snow will develop over the
central and northern parts of the region while rain falls
near Cape Cod. Snow showers are forecast to linger from the
central Appalachians to the lower Great Lakes and part of
the Ohio Valley. As a cold front pushes southward, showers
and thunderstorms will advance across the Florida Peninsula.
Much of the Plains and Mississippi Valley can expect dry
weather as a batch of snow moves across Utah, Arizona, New
Mexico and Colorado. This will be the next storm to spread
rain and snow into the Midwest and Northeast from Sunday to
Monday. The break from storms will continue along the
Pacific coast as California continues to clean up following
the onslaught since late December.
