They’ve questioned why it’s only open to single parents, and took to social media to air their thoughts.
One person wrote: “Why parents only? That’s weird,” while another said: “But why does it have to involve children? i just want it to be older adults by themselves.”
A third commented: “Me getting excited reads child has to be 18,” and a fourth shared: “How old are these single parents bc I’m sorry if you are like 65 and on a dating show that is just so sad.”
A fifth said: “Why they gotta be parents though not everyone who’s single and older has kids.”
The blurb for the show reads: “ITV1 are looking for vibrant single parents from across the UK who are in search of love, for a brand new dating show!
