I work in retail & we don’t care if you’re in a rush, we’ll scan your items slower – but I’ll always chat about your day
A MAN who works in retail has revealed the many things they don’t care about.
The man named Craig, who posts under the acronym @craignotcreg, took to TikTok and posted a video where he begins by discussing a phrase he often hears: “I’m never shopping here again.”
He quips: “What do you want me to do – start crying?
“I’ve never seen you before so why would I give a f*** if I ever saw you again? Don’t care!!
Craig goes on to note that the second thing he doesn’t care about is what the website says.
“I’m going to say this real slow,” he says.
“The website and the store are two different things.
“I don’t care if it says that the little gizmo the kid wants for his birthday is in stock, it’s wrong – leave me alone!

“It is possible for the website to not update in time so it says we have it in stock when in reality…do you know what…I shouldn’t have to explain it, I don’t care.
He then moves onto point three, which he points out is one for the managers.
“Oh yeah, you’ve been getting away scot-free with this one.
“I literally couldn’t give less of a monkeys that ‘sales are down.’
“We don’t work on commission, why would I care if sales are down?
“I’m over here stacking toilet roll – don’t care!”
Amongst the other things he doesn’t care about is when the “big boss is visiting.”
He explains: “Whenever we’re told this guy is coming to visit the place turns into a military camp.
“Why?
“I understand that he’s not your boss or anything but do you know who he’s not? God!”
Craig also highlights that he doesn’t care if you’re “in a rush.”
“I’ll scan your shopping the exact same speed I’ve been scanning everyone else’s and if you complain even a little bit, I will look you dead in the face and scan it slower than mushrooms, bro,” he says.
Finally, at number six, Craig says: “I don’t care how your day’s been, but you’re damn straight I’ll stand there for 35 minutes and listen to every detail because sometimes, people just want someone to talk to.”
Craig ended the video by asking other retail workers what annoys them – and he wasn’t short of answers.
“When they say they’ll go to a competitor…good you’re their problem now!” wrote one.
A second penned: “When customers threaten to get me fired.
‘We’ll see if you have a job after this!’
“Ma’am don’t threaten me with a good time.”
A third commented: “‘I’m calling corporate’…Okay? go ahead!”
