Sakala hosts first-ever Baseball5 tournament in Haiti

The Baseball and Softball Association of Haiti launched a Baseball5 development project coordinated by Luxama Fabrice Edouard.

The project started in late November 2022 in Cité Soleil (Sun City), a densely populated commune in the Port-au-Prince metropolitan area, with a three-day clinic that attracted 20 participants.

From 29 December 2022 to 14 January 2023, clinics were held regularly at the Sakala Community Center in Cité Soleil.

The activity led to the foundation of three teams, which competed in the first-ever Baseball5 tournament, played in Sakala on 13 and 14 January.
