German Scientists Explain What Happens To Your Soul After Death
There are so many questions that pop up whenever you think about what happens after death.
Death is one such thing that is fascinating, thought-provoking and frightening at the same time. People wonder if death can be explained objectively and scientifically, or when does it begin. They are interested in finding out what near-death experiences have shown so far as well. Bottom line is, either something happens, or nothing happens at all.
According to Dr. Stuart Hameroff, there’s something going on after death, and it is most certainly closely related to consciousness.
Before we start our discussion, it’d be better if we are clear on the meaning of the word "consciousness". So...

Only a few people manage to live longer than 100 years, and Bernard LaPallo, lived a happy, fulfilling, and healthy life well into his second century. This man was born in 1901 in Victoria, Brazil, and as a little boy, he migrated to the United States. food, science, nutrition, cool stuff, food, science,
He managed to have four careers during the 114 years of his life.
In the 1920s, he started out as a 5-star chef, then ran a successful massage practice for 20 years after obtaining his license at the age of 71, and later in life, he became an author and lecturer.
At the age of 73, he graduated from New York University for reflexology and podiatry and delved into the study of herbology with Dr. Richard Schulze of the American Botanical Pharmacy.
When he was recognized as the oldest living Yankee, he became popular and used his fame to inspire thousands of other people. During his entire life, he was dedicated to a healthy lifestyle and healthy everyday routines.
He ate the same food every day, and was best known for his catchphrase, "Keep your liver and colon clean". His diet included 5 key foods, and he believed that were responsible for his longevity: cinnamon, garlic, chocolate, olive oil, and honey.
Garlic is loaded with nutrients, lowers the risk of heart disease and blood pressure, while the healthy oils of olive oil improve heart and brain health. Moreover, cinnamon, honey, and chocolate have potent antioxidant properties that improve overall health.
word "consciousness". So, the Oxford English Dictionary defines it as "the state of being awake and aware of one’s surroundings" and "the fact of awareness by the mind of itself and the world".
The Double-slit experiment
There’s one last thing that has to be briefly discussed before Dr. Hameroff’s experiment is taken closer look at.
Anyways, the double-slit experiment demonstrates, with unparalleled strangeness, that little particles of matter have something of a wave about them. And it suggests that the act of observing a particle has a pretty dramatic effect on its behavior. The experiment suggests that light particles, known as photons, pass through two slits. After that, they form an ordered pattern on a wall. So, when an observational device, or a detector, is set up to detect which protons go through which slit, there is no pattern that emerges whatsoever. To put it another way, human observation, using technical apparatus, alters the pattern. We are expecting that photons of light should pass through one slit or another and therefore, create two parallel bands on the screen behind. On the contrary, the light spreads out onto alternating bands of light and dark.
"Quantum consciousness"
There are two things that human mind and the Universe have in common. First, we have a pretty little knowledge about them. And second, quantum vibrations are found in both of them.
Orch OR theory
The "Orch OR theory" adds consciousness to quantum computations in microtubules inside brain neurons. Quantum computers process information as super positions of various possibilities, which according to this theory, are alternative collective dipole oscillations orchestrated by microtubules. These oscillations entangle, compute and terminate by Penrose objective reduction (OR), which results in sequences of Orch OR moments with orchestrated conscious experience. Each one of these sequences selects microtubule states that govern neuronal functions.
Orch-OR and Death
Following the law of conservation of energy, one may think that energy can neither be created nor destroyed. However, energy has the ability to change forms.
To conclude with, quantum energy is the essential building block of the universe. And quantum energy if found within us as well. So the question is: "Are we creations of the Universe?".
It’s something worth thinking about and researched more profoundly.
One of the big mysteries of life is what comes after death. Religions over many centuries have come up with different concepts of what humanity defines as an "afterlife" a continuation of our soul’s journey. Those of a Christian faith believe that based on their actions and choices they will either end up in heaven or hell. Other religions believe that they will be reincarnated as a different person or even animal.
Scientists also theorize that something must happen after death and have started to embrace the idea of an afterlife, not based on religious beliefs but on the experiences that people who nearly died had. One of the most recorded events that take place right before the death of a person is having their life flash before their eyes.
This is not only presented in a large number of movies and books but has been accounted for by medics who saved their patients who were very close to death. An old study performed by The Missouri State Medical Association reported that only 17% of those who nearly died experienced near-death experiences. In many cases, most people fall into an unconscious state.
Specialists who have been studying this matter have discovered that there is a pattern based on the consciousness of a person. Those that are more religious tend to see God or other biblical characters when experiencing close death. Another aspect that confirms this is that each near-death experience is quite unique to every person as every consciousness is different.
Doctor Raymond Moody, one of the first specialists to look into this matter has recorded many different accounts of near-death experiences in his book entitled "Life after life".
Scientists have analyzed patients that have been in an unconscious state whilst having near-death experiences and concluded that from a logical point those patients should not be able to have lucid experiences, which makes them believe that the soul or consciousness is making a spiritual transition towards the next life or afterlife, triggered by physical near-death state of the body.
In another study done by The New York Academy of Sciences, medical specialists have looked specifically into near-death experiences caused by cardiac arrest and during such an urgent event, the human body, as well as the mind, should not be able to have full consciousness, therefore not able to remember a lucid "dream" of the afterlife.
Science challenges the ideologies presented by religion, but in many cases such as this one, not even science can describe how exactly near-death experiences are possible, therefore agreeing to the idea that there is life after death.
