The Vice President of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee, Ivan D'Souza, said that a committee headed by former KPCC President G Parameshwara will visit Dakshina Kannada on January 21 and 22 to prepare a manifesto for the upcoming elections. The manifesto will focus on industries, startups, and the fisheries sector in the district. A separate manifesto will be released for the coastal districts based on the committee's report. Congress leaders will tour the district to hold consultations with various groups, including fishermen, bus drivers, autorickshaw drivers, beedi workers, industries, artists, NGOs, and representatives from the tourism sector.
