Each year adds news residential locales to the existing ones in Mysuru city, and in the wake of the city's rapid expansion follow heaping mounds of construction debris - markers of the growth of the Heritage City. On average, nearly 150 to 200 tonnes of construction waste is generated in Mysuru city daily, and disposal of debris has turned into a particularly tricky problem for the authorities.
