Exam counselling for mass promoted Class 12 students

The Rajkot students who were mass promoted two years ago due to the Covid19 pandemic will now take the class 12 exam. The state government had promoted 12 lakh students of class 10 to class 11 starting academic year 2021. Experts said that a large number of these students are likely to suffer from exam anxiety and phobia as they are taking the board exam for the first time. The likelihood of suicides also increases during this period. The department will form various teams comprising professors and students who will counsel youngsters in different schools.
