Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said "though the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) could not win the 2019 Lok Sabha and 2022 assembly polls in Ghazipur, its double engine government has ensured that the district developed like all other areas of state and also emerge as an example how mafia and gangsters should be treated in any district".
