...AREAS OF FOG CONTINUE TO IMPACT THE BARRIER ISLAND...

Satellite imagery and webcams on South Padre Island indicate that

areas of fog are persisting near the coast this morning. Rich

Gulf moisture continues to pool along Lower Texas coastal areas in

the vicinity of a developing coastal trough/low. Fog is likely to

persist for another hour or two with visibility lowering to one

half mile at times.

Motorists are urged to reduce speed, use low beam headlights, and

avoid tailgating in any fog this morning.
