Ponty squad put through their paces at USW

Pontypridd RFC’s match against Swansea RFC fell foul to the freezing weather conditions on Saturday 21st January.

For Ponty Fans that meant an afternoon off, with alternative plans being made to fill the void of not being able to support their beloved team at Sardis Road. If it was a day off for supporters, there was no such thing for the playing squad.

Thanks to the fantastic links with Club Partners USW, the squad used their time proactively and were put through their paces in the Strength & Conditioning Suite at the USW Sports Park with Functional Fitness. Under the expert guidance of Club Conditioning Coach Nathan Evans the squad were worked extremely hard, and it was also great to see some of the players that are on the road to recovery from injury also taking part in the session as they work their way back to full fitness.
