A personal assistant of an MLA from Ludhiana West Gurpreet Bassi Gogi conducted a check at a multilevel parking lot in the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday and found that employees were overcharging people parking their vehicles in the lot. He also informed the Division Number Five Police Station and action was taken. The MLA said that he would submit a copy of the police action against the parking officials to the Deputy Commissioner and push for cancellation of the contractor's contract.
