The steel authority of India is celebrating its golden jubilee in Bokaro township. There are new attractions this year, like a laser show and a colorful program at the library ground. Popular singers like Mathaili Thakur, Rajat Sood, and Diwas Nayak of Indian Idol will entertain the audience. Bokaro Steel Plant General Manager A.K. Singh is leading the organizing committee of the celebrations. He says, "We are happy that the people of Bokaro have shown great enthusiasm for the celebrations on the foundation of sail." Bokaro Steel Plant General Manager added, "The history of BSL will be shown through the laser show, the sitting arrangement at the venue is of about 10,000 people including senior officials of BSL and the administration among others."
