Federal Prosecutors Have Increased Role In CARES Act Home Confinement Transfers

Throughout 2022, Federal prisoners started to feel some resistance to their being eligible for home confinement under CARES Act. Some of that resistance has come from the role federal prosecutors now have in the process.
